No, centralized quantum computing will not kill Bitcoin or nostr. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of what quantum computing is and its limitations.

There’s no second best quantum computer. There’s a quantum computer and it’s called Bitcoin.

Everything else is a centralized attempt to solve something that requires decentralization; and they are trying to break something existence demands not be broken.

Since when is bitcoin a quantum computer? Never heard that theory. Maybe way above what I understood of bitcoin.

afaik quantum computers aren't ready now or in a usable state but who knows. Or why is everybody talking about quantum resistant cryptography? Just marketing?

Does bitcoin resolve infinite potential (of a block configuration) into a single deterministic state by observation and the measurement (mining)? How is Bitcoin not a computed quantum state collapse?

Once you understand the energy and entropy; you realize what physicists claim a quantum computer will do is pure speculation rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding of the forces they are trying to manipulate.
