Is there a a way that a NOSTR post can be deleted or edited with the use of the private key or at lease request that to the relays?

Yep, it's a request for deletion. It really depends upon relays, who your're using for relay and if they actually do the deletion. I suck sometimes at spell checking before I hit enter, so it really makes me check before I hit 'enter'

Some clients may not even offer or use the delete event. But even if they do, there isn't a guarantee the relays will.
True. I would like an edit though. High mileage eyes + fat thumbs = typos. LOL
I think it will become standard(if it's not already) that most all nodes will perform the action to edit/delete. Also it's possible to only post on those that do. But those things will all get sorted out eventually
