get him some syrup for colic...
also burp the kid after feeding... before he falls asleep 💜💜
We have the probiotic, and the instant relief we can use like 12x per day, but she can’t sleep because she is gassy, and we’re all restless
then burping him is the only natural way
I burp her for 10m at a time, sometimes roll her legs up into her tummy to squeeze out some gas, but at most, we get 40min, then she’s uncomfortable again.
Been putting a pacifier back into her mouth frequently, and that keeps her from crying, but she just cannot seem to sleep, not during the day
It's all perspective.
We're at the point where crying isn't really anything and we're just zen. Last night we had the 5, 3, 2 year old and the 3 month old and shit was fucked, but we're in a zen place because we're so worn out. We all adapt.
I hired a nanny, and she is immune to the crying too… I’m struggling with it most.
She is just screaming in my face and I can’t comfort her because she is gassy and no amount of burping or massaging her tummy helps.
I know time passes, but my sanity is fading, this has taken everything out of me
Are you pumping her legs?
Have you tried this drink, I think it's called grape juice but it isn't from grapes? There's something like that, maybe it's called grate juice?
You are not alone, you are doing great, but yeah haha my sanity is also gone. If you need to set the baby down and take a break that's okay. It's no one's fault.

We already do
The pacifier sometimes works
But nothing stops the problem
Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water seemed to help ours when he was fussy.
With patience my friend. It gets better
Everyone says the same, but I’m dying bro 😭😭😭
How old is your little treasure?
6 weeks
And while I’m optimistic she’ll be a good girl
Right now, the vibe is more, “what have I done”
6 weeks is the peak of it. Should be getting better from here. Soon friend. Soon ™
I lock myself in the bathroom and cry…
This has broken me as a man 😩
🫂
We thought ours was colicky but he had reflux. Soon as he started the meds he started sleeping all night
That’s new, I’ll look into this
The days & nights are long, the months fly by. Remind yourself it is only for a tiny part of your journey ❤️🙏🏻
Go outside. Like 5 hours per day in the stroller. The movements will help alleviate the gas and the fresh air does the rest. They just sleep a lot better. And they're young, so don't worry about them "oversleeping" during the day. The air bomb makes them more tired at night. Avoid syrups and stuff. I have 3 of them fuckers and a very recent addition, so I'm in the middle of the same grind. Stay strong 💪
She does like the motion of the bassinet stroller. Thank you 🙏🏻
if I went back, I'd make sure mom eats lots of red meat to produce lots of real human milk, instead of feeding him industrial white waste, and keep him 24/7 physically attached to either parent so he gets his movements and his body heat.
We are breastfeeding but she can suck for 30+ min on each side, then be hungry shortly after.
It never satisfies her as much as formula.
Hate that we’re using it at all, but we need to get through this early stage and our daughter just can’t rest until full

Ingredients:
500 ml of raw, non-homogenized cow's milk
60 ml of homemade whey (see recipe below)
4 tablespoons of lactose
1/4 teaspoon of Bifidobacterium infantis
2 or more tablespoons of fresh cream
1/2 teaspoon of fermented cod liver oil (high in vitamins), or 1 teaspoon of regular cod liver oil
1 teaspoon of cold-pressed sunflower oil
1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons of coconut oil
2 teaspoons of nutritional yeast flakes
2 teaspoons of gelatin
460 ml of filtered water
1/4 teaspoon of acerola powder
Whey Recipe:
Place high-quality whole yogurt or kefir in a cheesecloth and hang it over a bowl to drain. Leave it at room temperature overnight.
Instructions:
Pour half of the water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Add the gelatin and lactose, stirring until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and add the remaining water to cool the mixture.
Add the coconut oil and stir until melted.
Place all other ingredients in a food processor, then add the water-gelatin mixture and blend for about 3 seconds.
Transfer the mixture into glass bottles and store in the refrigerator.
Warm the milk using a double boiler and never in the microwave.
While I’m sure this is a natural approach and well thought out, I’m afraid I don’t have immediate access to all those ingredients, and extremely overwhelmed to go looking for them as it’s just us.
But I appreciate this and will look into doing it for the next child!
Part 1: Mix the formula hours early. It's full of bubbles after you mix it.
Part 2: The "gas drops" are simethicone, which is used industrially as an anti-foam. Don't put the anti-foam in the baby, put it in the formula. Use a lot. This will stop the gas because you aren't feeding the gas to the baby anymore.
This will help some or maybe a lot.
One day at a time. This phase will pass and things will get better. Hang in there. Get rest when you can.
