I don't do graphics work. I use keyboard mostly with lots of shortcuts. Touchpad works well enough when I need to move a mouse pointer. My thumb is always close to the touchpad. One less thing to store in my bag and keep charged.

But I totally understand how a mouse is better than a touchpad for frequent pointing and clicking.
