Has he ever seen bamboo and poison ivy in the same place?

I ask because I haven't, and wonder if planting bamboo would keep poison ivy away.

Yes, I was thinking that might be the case. Probably have to change my fence line to be more habitable for bamboo, and then the poison ivy wouldn't grow back more because the environment has changed than because of the bamboo.
