That’s because you’re only on the 4 default relays Damus gives you. You’re going to have to add more.

Damus not coming out of the box ready to even follow people is sus

I asked nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s about this and he said the bandwidth costs to properly bootstrap new users was too high. It’s a problem.

It’s okay it’s a shambtastic protocol

This was more of an issue before strfry. As long as it’s a strfry relay it can handle the load a lot better and with cheaper plans
