For fans of Joel Meyerowitz!

I put together a flip-through video of Tuscany: Inside the Light—a bit of a hidden gem by Joel. In this one, he shifts from his classic 35mm style to a large-format approach.

Watch this video while listening to Slowdance, Lowtide by Hirotaka Shirotsubaki and you’ll thank me later.

If I were to send out my own gold record into space for aliens to see what humanity can accomplish, it would be that video with that album playing. Really shows that a person can notice a moment of beauty in creation.

You can check this one out on Bandcamp.

Awesome, thanks for sharing Scott. This is up my alley. My friend Corey made this track for the video. Here's his bandcamp (I've made his album artwork)

Didn't know this one. Tuscany is such a classic location to photograph, aside from the typical tourist stuff, it's packed with intriguingly understated landscapes, and some amazing light.

I can imagine. Would love to go one day. Have you been?

Yeah spent a few weeks there back in 2019, was for a travel mag assignment so only had a little time for personal work but really enjoyed it. Lovely landscapes and great food of course.

That’s cool, who was the travel mag? I’m curious to hear more about that as that is something I’d like to do more of
