Flat and thin is the way to go on sandals. It takes a minute to get used to being basically barefoot, but I'll never go back now. We've put some miles on them and they're holding up well, also.
Ended up getting a pair of these thanks to nostr:nprofile1qqst5x9k23f40nlcu5c6enlp6cy6g8hnqglm5pcak89ltfn5frqeq3sprpmhxue69uhhjctjdekxzere9cerzmtfdshx6ef0qyd8wumn8ghj7ur4wfshv6tyvyhxummnw3ezumrpdejz7zg0hrg ‘s timely recommendation. Very clean. Let’s see how they feel. Stay tuned…

I walk barefoot practically everywhere when I can, so I may love these
Probably so. They make them thinner than those, but they're just strings and an 1/8 inch of rubber. That said, those have lasted a long time, too.
These are the Genesis sandals. The wear pattern is interesting. I always used to wear the heel out first in typical shoes. My zero-drop Altras look similar to these sandals.
