Dare I say that Bluesky will be more familiar to use for the masses due to the email registration process plus the added âmarketingâ weight it carries due to the Jack effect? MSM picking up on it alreadyâŠ

Def because of the email/pass registration
But I donât believe thatâs the best long term answer. Key pair is much better. Just takes getting used to
canât we just surface the nsec as an immutable âpasswordâ to users and move on?
end users donât need to know the technical details (unless they want to)
Key pairs most certainly the future - almost needs a mainstream marketing focus in of itself. See/predict moves in this direction in time - even hints from Apple with its iCloud Advanced Data Protection implementation. Not exactly key pairs but not far offâŠ
The problem is that key pairs are very foreign to the masses. We need better signing devices for proper key management where you don't even know it's key management, these actions just fall into the background.
I like key pairs too. Very powerful. I hope it will increase intelligent use of password managers like keypass and it's many clients. Very powerful tools in the age of encryption and privacy concerns..đ
Agree. I have had friends confusingly ask me about Bluesky since they're heard that it's "Jack's new Twitter" đ„č The man has clout.
Definitely! I had friends forward me the msm links to Bluesky adoption recently (I posted them here a day ago or so). Iâve been decentralise-pilling them over the past few years and now they send me articles about decentralisation - not sure if thatâs a win or not⊠đ
