I sometimes layer a single slice of bread with peanut butter, and place a whole dill pickle like the wiener in a hot dog for maximum pickliness.
Peanut butter on a hot dog is also good FWIW.

but a spicy peanut butter satay sauce on an actual hot dog would slam and never woulda gotten there without you
