The conversation isn't only about ossification.

There's another big unanswered question about governance.

If there isn't some kind of effort by Bitcoiners to establish how #Bitcoin governance is going to work, it will ossify by default and fail as freedom money.

We definitely don't want a "governance" protocol. That would mean some sort of committee or "constitution" or foundation, and that would turn us into Ethereum

Decentralisation means decentralisation. Get used to the resulting chaos 🙂

governance is a naturally occurring phenomenon, it happens anyway. bitcoiners have to recognize that fact and be able to talk about what's happening.
