To maintain power the state must maintain the illusion of its necessity at all costs. Unfortunately it has a whole army of people suffering from Stockholm syndrome that helps them achieve this. What can we do to help heal these people?

Grow your own food & transact in Bitcoin.

Leaders lead,

These people are trading their free will for the insurance and security of the state. The state can only pay out these insurances (welfare, social security, ect.) by secretly stealing from the productive (fiat money printing). Buy using bitcoin it will bankrupt these insurance pools and force the majority to use their free will and become net producers... many will kill themselves or others to avoid this fate.

Just be prepared to face the same fate as the Kulaks: slandered as one of the causes of the nations problems for merely being hestitant of the behavioural orthodoxy.

The kulaks held their wealth in highly visible and confiscatable land; bitcoiners are different in these aspects. For sure "hoards" (people with savings) will be demonized when the Federal gov goes bankrupt, but unlike in the USSR they can't pull off a great purge as they will not be able to disarm the populous.

I believe the most likely future is a complete bifurcation between the productive and unproductive... with each group passing different money. The unproductive will pass Federal slave tokens of some type and the productive will only accept and use a form of sound money: gold silver bitcoin. I'm seeing this in Argentina already with the farmers in the Pampas refusing to take pesos for their soybeans and having "terrorists" vandalize and destroy farmers stockpiles of soybeans they refuse to take to market at the current manipulated prices.

Sounds like the behaviour I was talking about. Putting wealth into a different system will be villianized like the kulaks. Then confiscation and destruction of their things becomes a form of "justice" for how they "harmed" everyone not leaving the system they worship.

If everything bitcoiners want to sell to each other is destroyed then no circular economy can form to threaten their financial orthodoxy.

If people arent transacting privately then they have a very public ledger keeping a list of all the dissidents that tried to harm everyone else by refusing to comply.

Just like those farmers.

Can't confiscation or destroy a bitcoin. The will definitely try to get the lower class to hate the middle class I agree, but the country is too vast and decentralized to destroy that amount of property. Most likely you will see an acceleration of the trends we've seen post George Floyd riots (left wing mobs destroying property) and covid lockdowns (gov destroying property) is any business or property owners from blue cities (Minneapolis, Portland, SF, ect.) fleeing to red states (FL , TX , TN) that respect their property rights. As many problems as the U.S. has the choice given to citizens by the federated state model might allow us to find pockets of freedom.

I hope this is true. Definitely hoping for the best while preparing for the worst. I still want to try even if it does result in being demonized and persecuted.

Godspeed on your preps and know that others are out there

The lack of privacy is concerning in my opinion. Not only would they have most financial transactions but with nostr they'd have conversations like this as well. Definitely things to keep in mind while building these decentralized technologies.

I wonder how much bifurcation/polarization can take place before things snap back to equilibrium though. Seems like that has to collapse under its own weight at some point.
