Yeah getting more people into Nostr would get more people into Bitcoin and that would be good for Bitcoin.
But I don't care.
I just want to hang out in my cool echo chamber with my weird internet friends talking about seed oils bad and Bitcoin gud and occasionally argue some esoteric topic until we reach a consensus and all start agreeing with each other again.

But question isn't there a way that we can Start our own realys with the Og... That we can have a lane away from everyone else?
To you both: THIS is how we grow…it will not be for everyone and that is quite alright, for those it is working for, it becomes easier to navigate towards those relays that we want to engage with…but…it shouldn’t stifle the creative forces that brought us here in the first place. Nothing is perfect until there is nothing left to add or take away…I don’t see that being the case with any Nostr client.
I say features for those clients is the candy that attracts those folks and it’s the substance that keeps them.
I personally want to figure out how to search my own notes so I can re-note them…that seems like a feature others would want to use rather than creating an entire new note with the same info…. But that’s just me😆

That's because they who control the Relays will boot any fuckery off they server they will still live but they post won't show as much. So in way we determine how it moves. But it very from person to person !
I would have to say that may be the case in comparison, but not being a “fruit” doesn’t mean they don’t independently have a benefit over the other. Some clients are loaded with useless features, others are building based on user feedback. I personally don’t want to structure my feed to be featured out like a FuckBook or instacrap. I don’t miss them at all.
And we know there will be those that no matter what features are made available to them, will still never garner their usage of the client. Some folks are addicted to the drama and love it when censorship reigns. So, this level of freedom does nothing for them.
And final point…what features do you think would be worth the slip into normiesland? I don’t think there’s any 1 I would want if it meant becoming “just like….”, but who knows, maybe that’s what some folks will develop…

I have noticed for SURE here comes one… how do I get a relay going? Or should I even try that yet? Seems to be handled “I guess “ I got into mining up to my ears.. so of course I have a bitcoin core node as well but that was a little more involved than mining. I am still and always learning.. a little over 2 years in but I KNOW I passed up some with many more than that because I believe I was so fascinated with it. And that grows by the day..
So there a couple of things you need to ask yourself. Like is this personal or public.
How much space you going to host and how much space you going to give pre user.. But that can all change base on you. But that math gives you the amount of space you will need . But it Can be done with a raspberry pi and some hard drivers...
