**America’s first nuclear-powered Bitcoin mining center to open in Pennsylvania**

Talen Energy's Cumulus Data says that the powered shell for its first **48 MW**, 300,000 square foot data center is complete and with various fiber routes in service. The data center is powered by a direct connection to the **2.5 GW Susquehanna nuclear power station** in northeast **Pennsylvania**.

It absolutely can and also in this case there's zero carbon involved. Just clean nuclear energy.

Looks like they plan to do it at more locations, too.

Yeah I was just reading that facility in particular was to balance the supply / demand.

Exciting to see it all become reality across the world.
