That's my approach too and I am not shy of force-pushing if I'm the sole or main developer of a thing. `git reset --hard HEAD~20; git pull; cargo run` did it for me.

I use tick marks everywhere to delimit code. Perhaps influenced by Markdown, but it works in plaintext.
