If your notes are public, why not.

The trick is to link the npub to the actual person.

That's why I didn't even get on nostr until I had grapheneos and a bit of confidence in using Tor. What does the turtle emoji mean? I know I'm slow, sheesh...

Doesn't mean anything. It's just a turtle.

Being anonymous and using encryption gets you a lot of the way to privacy. Tor is an added bonus. VPNs are a must.

You already do, for the most part. When you use HTTPS or WSS (on your Nostr relays) that last S stands for Secure. So your data is all encrypted.
