Insomnia, anxiety, stress?

Ground your energy with this relaxing yoga pose--

Viparita karani aka legs up the wall pose can help dissipate scattered energy, thoughts, feelings and emotions from your mind. The result is that you feel more grounded, calm and relaxed.

Try it and let me know how you feel. ☺️

How to do it:

Sit on the floor facing the wall, then recline until your back is on the floor. Raise your legs so your heels are touching the wall .

If you're hamstrings are more flexible, inch your butt closer to the wall. If you're very flexible, you're butt may touch the wall.

But being in a perfect reclining 90 degree shape isn't the goal... The pose must be comfortable to gain the benefits of calming the mind.... if you're hamstrings are screaming, back away from the wall... πŸ˜‰

I am going to try this tonight, whats above your feet?

It's a picture my friend took (a collage of people doing yoga poses).

I was trying to get the ceiling in the picture so it was obvious my legs were up a wall.

Do for 10 minutes if you can. Have a rug or something comfy under your back also helps...

Lmk what you think βœ¨πŸ™

I have never touched my toes without bending my knees, i look forward to the stretch. The picture looked like a QR code lol

πŸ˜‚ now I can't unsee that !

Here is a close up. These were all people in the local yoga community. Fun memories.

Lol love it

I do this sometimes if my lower back is hurting .

Everything is yoga πŸ˜„

This pose/position can relieve a lot of symptoms... Happy you've found a fix for your backβœ¨πŸ™

Didn't know it was a yoga move .

I used to do this all the time for better circulation in my calves, not knowjng it has benefits for dissipating scattered energy.

Yes. It has multiple benefits. Next time you do it, lmk if your mind feels calmer πŸ˜„
