I was writing fiction until I found out that 90% of fiction is purchased by women between ages 40-65. Took the wind out of my sails.

Just add a Bigfoot romance to the plot and you'll sell a million copies.
ugh. sounds like a terrible tiem writing.
Lol
look, I have nothing against women between 40-65. I have one at home, but I've also seen the garbage they read.
What a bummer. You only have about 48.7 million men to write for.
not enough.
How many do you need?
I was joking.
I mean, we can find more for you if you want. ;-)
I've got a solid concept. Lots of characters, solid God focused question at it's core. Not sure what the audience will be. The sad fact is that I don't really know any guys who read fiction. Maybe it's different for science fiction.
I read fiction. :-)
I would humbly submit, that if the book resonates with you, it will resonate with readers.
Additionally, measuring your sample by only the people you know is probably too small a sample. I knew maybe one person who would be interested in my second book on intellectual development, but it's my best seller to this day.
I appreciate the encouragement. My first novel didn't sell well, but I also didn't promote it. Things got hectic in my life after I finished it. Then we moved to our property, which has taken much work. I am taking another look at what I've written on the second one to see what I can do with it.
