I think it's still because we're a fairly small community, but I also think that inherently, humans don't want to fight one another.

Yes, it feels like a pent up need to just be happy and have fun that we were missing out on in the last few years

We are all much more similar than different. We have been divided, on purpose, for so long that it’s nice to communicate openly without any manipulation.

People have seem to forgotten that we're allowed to have different opinions and still get along and be civil 😃

Exactly. And the ways in which our mediums of communication have been structured, it’s not always easy to find the “signal” or to find people with similar worldviews. People who can banter, laugh at themselves, display humility, and question their own ways of thinking. So far, this is that place. Just a bunch of people sitting around the campfire. I can see some shitposts, some memes, directly converse with devs, talk politics, culture and art.

All the trolls are on their best behavior trying to find jobs after the layoffs.

Honestly, that is what they should do. If they're kind and produce good content, they're going to earn Zaps. Value for Value.
