It isn't just that it is a seed oil. It is an emulsifier, which are used in highly processed foods to dissolve fats. The problem is the lining of your stomach is made of fats so it dissolves that too.

This is troubling to hear. I see a lot of protein powders switching to this. I'm guessing it's in a lot more products I have never noticed too. Thanks for the info!

Agreed. If you are trying to avoid it protein powder options are slim. I use naked casein and I don't know of any others.

That sounds easy until you start aggressively trying to gain muscle and realize just how much it takes. Especially if you are a little older because your body becomes less effective at using what you do eat.

How much protein do you actually eat? My lower limit when I'm slacking is 150g in a day. 1.5 lbs of meat to get there.
