I've been daydreaming about getting a Jeep too.

The one person who had advice for me so far said they are unreliable and expensive to fix, but he's not a mechanic..

I'd like to hear some more thoughts on this

I was told to stay away from the 3.8 motor, the 3.6 is much better.

And they are notorious for eating cams and lifters so listen for any tap-tap-tapping, if so, avoid.
