I need to make this more clear, but you need to press that button to get a big Gif. Otherwise you are only going to get the regular custom emoji, which is tiny.

I still don't understand how to add gifs
Use a colon at the beginning of a line. For example

The above will bring up a scrolly list of gifs. To make them larger, click on the slanty arrow symbol to the right of the gif you want to use to make it larger:

You have to type a : first to bring up the list. I did not know that. My emoji-fu is weak.
You should also mention to only save .gif
& Not .webp
it wonβt be interoperable with the rest of the protocol
