Want to get myself a soldering iron, what should I go for? What do I look for in a good soldering iron?

Probably temperature control. I just have a caveman soldering iron, but it works for quick things and doesn't have adjustable temp. What I have really enjoyed for the iron is a decent stand/alagator clip setup too.

Oh yeah those alligator clip stands are super helpful. I think they're sometimes called helping hands?

It's also nice to have some flux. And a solder sucker thing for removing solder
