I wonder if it’s relay dependent? #[3]
It probably does depend on relays, the number is eventually consistent.
The nostr setup also somewhat matches the reality where you don't know exactly how many people are actually interested in what you do (i.e. "follow you") and it's more fuzzy. Not all your posts will reach everyone. And that's ok.
