I sat a few out before and was effected anyway. No private island existed for me. Nor was neutrality possible since others wanted to drag me into things.

It is impossible to avoid. I will read and make judgements. I will listen & consider what people close to me have to say. I will not entertain myself with the televised train wreck that allegedly represents the American populace. I don't believe there is anything to gain from it, and it doesn't deserve my attention.
