what percentage of those are bots, and how can on verify?

how would you answer the same question about nostr stats?

This is a question I asked nostr:npub176p7sup477k5738qhxx0hk2n0cty2k5je5uvalzvkvwmw4tltmeqw7vgup. Methodology should be reproduceable and verifiable.

What is the answer for reddit?

For new user cohorts on any platform or protocol, including nostr (actually especially nostr) bots can be whatever % you want them to be. Most LLMs pass the Turing test these days.

There is no reproducible, cross-platform methodology anywhere. It's a complete fever dream. There is only deep, bespoke investigation of various quirks, clues and historical data specific to each platform, client, etc.

Nostr stats are actually bad, too.

They are definitely mostly bots and they are lying to investors

Hard to believe.
