Five years ago Trump said Tik Tok was the greatest threat to our children. He’s only worried about his popularity AND he and all his data harvesting buddies know that their companies are equally dangerous and should also not exist.

Trump’s meme coin was a way to raise quick cash so he can put together a group of investors and make a deal to buy TikTok. The meme coin was never about long term investment.
He sees an opportunity to “save the day” and own something that is a cash cow in a wildly popular, widely use social media app.
Just a crazy thought.
Trump wanted TikTok banned 5 years ago. He's the one that started this all. There's no need to attempt to make sense of it with mental gymnastics. He's a scammer. It's that simple.

I see nothing here about divestment; TikTok won't do that, as they've stated multiple times. Nothing short of an enforced ban will push them towards a sale. Rather, Trump is going to try and use this as some kind of leverage, possibly with the CCP. This is what it always comes down to with him, and I can't see much gain coming from any of this. Best just to take it out behind the shed right now.
