I do like sitting by water and staring at it already. So I think I should at least try:)
I live in London, so options are limited, but people do it. I just like the idea of a peaceful rural location. I believe there is a gated reservoir that you can pay to use for a certain amount of time. Somehow feels wrong tho.
We have community fisheries here that are stocked with hatchery fish. They can be fun, but are often crowded. Many of the reservors around me have a day use fee and I don't like it either, but there are fewer people.
I have actually considered just paying to go in and read a book, with no fishing equipment, cos it's guaranteed to be peaceful and almost empty.
