Right? With Google killing Ublock Origin, I went searching for alternatives. Good news is that AdGuard Home (FOSS) is simple to install. I added it as primary DNS to my Tailscale tailnet, et voila.

How’s the performance impact compared to browser level blocking? Any noticeable latency with DNS filtering?

I'm running it on a fairly beefy machine (Umbrel Home), and I can't say I've noticed any difference so far. I'll give it 30 days and report back.
