The two that come to mind are Firefly and Cowboy Bebop. There's really a LOT that could be done in the sub-genre

Thanks 🙏 I’ve read a lot of books 📕 but not watched a lot of movies etc … at least by comparisons appreciated 🫡
In terms of books, I've read a bunch of hard science fiction space novels (my favorite, actually). I bet if I looked around I'd find more space cowboy genre novels.
Also just remembered The Mandalorian has some cowboy/samurai themes written into it.
