I am glad that you are okay and nothing bad happened. Did you call the police? They must do their job and prevent as much as possible crimes.

You don't need to be fearful person to want to live in normal society. And I hope majority of society is still normal and if other men see something wrong they will act. I act in such situations. Maybe best first go places where there are lots of people or go out with friends who escort you to your home till you get better. But I think police should be notified about such occassions even to report what car he was driving what color, everything that can help them identify this psycho.

The family who helped me called the police but the police did not come since there was no crime. That was one reason I felt more vulnerable. I am going to force myself until this feeling fades.

Stay strong and also stay safe.

You will overcome this but best first to go out with friends and family.

I think the reality is that majority of people are good and normal.

In bad situations one can use their phone to record video of a person (as evidence for police) or use pepper spray and/or avoid dangerous or dark places.

I am sure there are many more things that one can do for their own safety and security. And of course what you did was very good to go near other normal people.
