Ooh, I too want to know!

Two cheap ones.

that isn't helpful lol

It is. I wouldn't trust one cheap one, but two should do the job.

Freezers or alarms

Alarms.

I mean I was hoping you would of said freezers because I really want another one

Don't let me stop you.

Oh you won't but my wife will lol

Which one have you used before?

I haven't. I just have family that do. A variety of times of purchase cheap ones rated well on Amazon, always duplicated.

Other ways to to go about it depends on the your home automation or lack thereof.

I use the Yolink LoRa system with a temperature sensor and speaker hub. It gives an audible alert and sends out email and SMS if the temperature gets above my setpoint, assuming internet is working. Sensor batteries last about 5 months. It's not the ideal solution because you're relying on 3rd party services, but it has worked reliability for me for the past year. Also, once you have the speaker hub, you can add additional functions. I use it for a driveway alarm, gunsafe door monitor, greenhouse temperature monitoring and to remotely control my truck's block heater.

I'll look into it thank you

I was looking at a company called SensorPush. They are a little pricy but most of the hardware and software is made in the US and it seems very flexible on multiple configurations (I think it’s intended for industrial applications)

HT.w Wireless Digital Thermometer runs about $70/ea and requires a base station. It doesn’t have a local alarm or external screen though which I don’t like as it therefore seems to require the phone to be useful. I’d run it on a separate WiFi network to be safe

Awesome thank you

I don't know how to set up separate networks and it's clear that I need to learn how
