"Have a #Bitcoin boating accident."
1. Better that it is spent or stolen than lost.
2. If attempting (1), do NOT under any circumstances repatriate into fiat system.
Good luck.

Boating accidents? More like inflation derailing your life savings. Dump your fiat, buy ₿. Even "lost" Bitcoin is still held somewhere in the network. Fiat, on the other hand, vanishes in the smoke of those government printers. They call it "recovery," we call it "rug pull." #BreakTheChains
#2 is essential for staying out of prison.
Probably best to leave said fiat jurisdiction if going this route TBH.
Not very family friendly.
Can you elaborate?
#Bitcoin is highly traceable, and a boating accident implies you are going to tell authorities that it has been lost, which will blow up in your face if said Bitcoin is found to be still transacting, especially if you turn it back into fiat or make purchases in the fiat economy for goods and services delivered to your person.
Better to have it "stolen" and then mixed via whirlpool to be spent in the #Bitcoin only economy, ideally abroad.
Or, better yet, stack NoKYC / unregistered sats and spend in the #Bitcoin economy alone.
