I'm on day 16 now (started July 15, today is July 31 where I am at). Still have a (now burning) sore throat with occasional painful productive cough and now I have mouth ulcers to boot.

A co-worker started having symptoms on July 9 and she's still sick. She came in briefly this morning to drop something off and she had lost her voice. Day 22 for her. My boss has it. He got it about a week after I got it. One of my neighbors has it.

Somebody should analyze this thing. WTF is it? Did it escape from a lab? Does it ever go away?

RSV?

I had RSV (I think) 6 weeks before I got this, an intense cold that turned into bronchitis. This is different, this is tonsilitis without cold symptoms.

Oh no! I don’t know what that is called, other than horrible. Hope it gets better fast. And your colleagues, too. Keep us posted.

go to the doc... 16 days is not a normal flu.

docs have tricks, e.g. decide bacterial or viral by seing the pus on the throat, virus are more continuous, bacteria more concentrated in macro points. mouth ulcers can tell them something too.
