Now the purpose of money is in part to create a value layer, but for that value layer to be useful there needs to be some way to facillitate the transfer of value between individuals, ie trade. Money was invented to facillitate trade. So if I cant trade sats for things and make a profit in sats what would be the value of owning sats??
