This should be concerning to bitcoiners, IMO. If Cashapp cannot successfully integrate LN, despite having some of the best LN devs, how can we expect other exchanges and businesses to do so?

100% agree. They should be able to send a payment of that size at any time without delay.

not surprised that you guys actually care. i have issues getting lightning payments to my node. it's never worked and i figured i just need better peers, but now im wondering if that's not the case. thoughts? here's my node:
