The unfortunate truth about cocoa, and raw cacao powders and products that use those powders is they have extreme levels of heavy metals in them, which wreak havoc on the body.

Below is cocoa powder with some of the lowest heavy metal contents that you can buy:

To add, many salts also have extreme levels of heavy metals in them. Jacobsen is one that tested extremely low in heavy metals and seems to be one of the best.

Yes, exactly that. I still have several bags left of the high iron Redmonds then I'm switching over to jacobsons 🫡

Yeah I’m doing the exact same thing haha

Shoutout nostr:nprofile1qqs27annlvyatx8tvvnje4lxc8gkzsp3eh7qsnzxpaw4fxlrxhw8vvqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm4wfex2mn59en8j6gprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezummjv9hxwetsd9kxctnyv4mqf3vnar. Some people hate on him for seemingly no reason. Dude has highlighted solid things, like the heavy metals in salt, for a while now and has been super consistent

Yessir I take his Heart & Soil organ supplements every day

I have benefited a lot from Saladino’s work, but I just want to slide this piece of information across the digital desk: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKH9IbDRxch

In short, the study that Saladino cites for “heavy metals in salt” does not appear to be reputable.

Eh, don't buy it. None of us care that Saladino is a doc. This IG guy clearly has an axe to grind.

Furthermore, let's ignore lab tests. Redmonds salts and other 'pink' salts are pink because of iron in them, it's literal rust that's mixed in with the salt. Go with one that's not pink and has no microplastics as a minimum, and you still end up with jacobsons.

they have a rosemary salt that is sooooo good

How can we check this? Does it say on the labels?

^this. Lead safe mama is the 🐐

This is true. They also are an unhealthy source of oxalates.

The oxolates are tough yeah
