It’s actually really easy
ive just been so all over the place with everything lately 😔
i have two Q’s : what is the first thing & is the second something that costs me ? id imagine so but am unsure 
In the alby settings you will find the nwc string for your wallet (Don’t share this!) past it in the box and add a + sign after nostr
The bottom is a option to share a percentage of every zap with either nostr devs or open sats. Completely optional but helps fund development
PS be sure to set a budget in the settings. The nwc string gives permission to spend sats from your wallet and you need to set a cap just in case
i cant find it. is it the same as my connection credentials?
Log into alby. Click hamburger-> wallet
Scroll down to wallet connection credentials
so i copied the string and pasted it in the box but ? it yelled at me. i changed the beginning to nostr+walletconnect and it also yelled at me
Yelled at you? As long as the plus sign is between nostr and connect you should be good. Just copy and paste the string after it
it has “nostr+walletconnect://“ at the beginning. oh wait one sec
I said it was easy but I am reconsidering that answer
it just says “something went wrong” everything i try. do i take out the stuff at the beginning of the credentials before the :// ?

Damn I have no idea what’s going on. You paste your npub (not nsec), select the 🤙, add an amount, and paste the string with a + after "nostr".
Is this the site you’re getting your string from?

I did not input the "+" and it worked, just pasted the nwc string as it was

Oh, that’s good news. Should make nostr:npub1wxl6njlcgygduct7jkgzrvyvd9fylj4pqvll6p32h59wyetm5fxqjchcan onboarding MUCH easier.
Interestingly it looks like nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm has added the + to their connection string.
Maybe there are other apps that need it? It’s all very confusing, but the fact that it works is amazing
