Interesting. I left FC just after frames kicked off and they were interesting and new and creative. I haven't been back - maybe you're right that it has devolved.
That said, I don't see why Nostr clients couldn't have a "hide all frame notes" setting. (Warpcast probably will never do this because they're a centralized client and are a NGU entity)

But that’s something that is limited to just chat contexts. In a feed I think it would get chaotic as hell.
They need a Farcaster app that is dead Simple though. Like just Bluesky functionality. Something people understand. Warpcast is everything and the kitchen sink. Unusable imo
If FC wasn't so difficult to run nodes for or develop clients for, they wouldn't have the problem you rightly point out.
this webxdc thing is very interesting... looking in to it. Agreed something like that is a bad fit for feeds. more like Communities where an admin could
