I remember when MeWe added a tool for all Google+ users to import all of their exported data. It worked really well. Many of us used it... and then never used MeWe again.

you must have never used google+. it was the most engaging social platform i've ever used, years above anything else at it's time. that's why it was more active than twitter back in the day. though google gave up on it, like most google projects.

I even used Orkut. Google+ was a shitty social network and Google's attempt to jump on Facebook's bandwagon. The most disgusting thing happened when Google started forcing their users to transfer their profiles to Google+ and even tied YouTube to Google+.
