Android now is also pretty lame if you can unlock the bootloader. Magisk is not the same. Google stuff is so intertwined it's almost impossible to remove without losing a lot of the functionality of the device.

i use graphene os, so its all aosp, the google shit is optional . about magisk , rooting is not recommended , makes device less secure so dont do it
Once the bootloader is unlocked there seems to be no way back.
I hate these cattle tag sureveillance devices anyway. The sooner I can not have one the happier I am going to be. The only thing that demands it is banking, and I think if I return to my homeland I can get rid of it for this final purpose as well.
Or even better advice, don't buy any device that doesn't come google free, open firmware and lock free.
