And even if they would they're the last people we'd want holding it. Nature is healing and rebalancing power.

Obviously

Mallers was just on McCormacks pod and Mallers expresses skepticism about Trump's rumored plan to buy Bitcoin, suggesting that if he genuinely cared about acquiring Bitcoin, he would have done so quietly before making public announcements. -what a great episode. Short and sweet.

Correct, I’ve been saying this. If you play by game theory rules you’re not going to announce you’re buying a scare asset as you’d get front run. The price suggests the likelyhood of him buying btc as a reserve asset is extremely low.

It's hard to argue with that.

It seemed a bit careless and reckless, announcing bitcoin reserve.

You would basically be signaling to tbe entire geopolitical landscape that you are abandoning your own currency, which by the way, acts as the global reserve, in favor of bitcoin.

Would this not trigger a global economic "arms race" for bitcoin?

Seems like the bloodiest, scariest possible road to hyperbitcoinization.

Fantastic explanation!

A man is a genius when he express something you probably could not think for yourself and still, after the explanation, you say: - Of course, it's obbvious!

For a massive BRO 😎 view … agreed

It's a good rant.

I think there's something to be said about the idea that Trump learned a lot about the chicanery of politics in his last term and the Biden administration. If someone was going to end the fed, they wouldn't lead with that. It would get them assassinated. More efficiently this time. It would make as much sense as announcing a Bitcoin reserve which he also did but then Trump isn't nearly as smart on some things as some have made him out to be. Time will tell but I'm expecting several curve balls over the next few years.
