The light gathering capability of your setup is stunning
Most of the time I am bouncing the light from my headlamp off my shirt, or a rock behind me, or otherwise suplimenting the light. But yes, it is pretty amazing how much light a camera can capture in a 10 second exposure.
Part of the fun is figuring out how to illuminate the foreground without making it look like I shined a flashlight on it.

Hah, no, but luckily there’s usually not a ton of mosquitos in the desert. Rattlesnakes and tarantulas though.

welcome! take care of your self in the RV - minimize how often you've got bluetooth, wifi and cell service streaming into the metal box that is your RV. Had a friend do this, her entire inner abdomen area collapsed. You can learn from Dr. Jack Kruse (OG bitcoiner and decentralized MD in El Salvador) who can provide data on how to RV travel with mitochondrial health in mind.
