My dad talked about this a lot when I was growing up, except he told it as rocks, pebbles, sand, and he added water. And I've taught the same principle to my kids.
Focus on the rocks and pebbles in your life first, and not as much on the sand and and water.

The problem is your health, family and friends - you can’t really do that much to change them. Sure you can be nice to them and take care of your health but mostly you just got what you got.
You can go and buy a car, and the small stuff is really easy to change.
Yes, it's not possible to change everything and everyone.
But, you can start by yourself and try to stay focused and try to set your priorities. Don't waste too much time with things that are not worth it.
I know, it's not that easy. I'm a person who often wastes time with things that are not worth it. So, it's a good metaphor and for me it's important to practice 😁!
Maybe. When all else fails you can always just go to bed and try again tomorrow
