that's very hard and straight Y. Nostr, like Bitcoin, is more than just something people love ... it's also a business and there are developers who need money to pay for their living, but there are also greedy guys who want to be rich (or just richer) ... we are all humans

You realize we had to fight to make bitcoin what it is? First Gavin and the foundation came for it, and we introducted the BIPs to slow him down, and eventually demote him (I did like Gavin but in the end he was bad for bitcoin). Then we had to fight off all the VCs in the 2016 governance wars (what people incorrectly refer to as block size wars). Then we have to fight off shit coiners trying to fork and social attack it. Fight of ver and bsv. The list goes on. We can only have the nostr we want if we fight for it.
My answer was to “nostr is like bitcoin” it’s not ! Two different protocols for different purposes!
About the fight I agree with you that nostr has not seen anything yet and we better start belling already !

Had a long time problems with understanding what the hype was about on Nostr myself 🤭, felt like a more concentrated 'sample group' version of Twitter (where I never cared for the algos anyway
The only thing I can say is, I try to 'consume' posts differently and actively change up my filters for content. 🤷♂️.
Don't like the 'trending' notes (always same small core group of 'famous' people anyway.
I am not smart/skilled enough to help you in any way, but you have always the option not to care for the content you don't care about, without cutting yourself off from all the interesting stuff 🤷♂️. Ofc. Still a choice 100% up to you 🤗
