Add them with the button in the post above. Long click on the like button (heart) below a post, there will be at the bottom, add the one you like to your emotes list. Next time you like there will be in the list.

I just found this. So cool. Log in to emojito with your nostr, bookmark a collection. Go back to amethyst. They now just show up to be added to your emoji options after you hold down the react button.
