True, but I think bitcoin allows people to change. You can want to change your behaviors, but if you have to rely on central banks you're fucked.
Not sure if it's true for other people but I've completely changed since using bitcoin instead of dollars.
I think it is easy to say this when on nostr and surrounded by the like-minded but the general population are less open and willing. Most don't see the problem with the current system or they're thriving in the current system and don't want to change it.
You're π― right, I don't spend much time around bitcoiners in real life so very few people have shown an interest in fixing their financial health.
If I could point to a single attribute that would help money to not fall into the same trap as gold or fiat, it would be to have an unchanging intrinsic payment network, instead of using a human payment network like the central banking monopolies.
I think the lack of this simple attribute lead to the Rothschild and JP Morgan monopolies on the transfer of value itself. (Which has proven to be the most profitable business of all time)
I hope enough of us choose to utilize this feature of Bitcoin to keep it alive for all who want to escape the banking monopoly trap, and maybe we can even end that system all together.
Hope all you want, but check yourself. Are you entirely out of the trap? And I mean entirely. What are all the ways you are still tied to the system? Really audit yourself. Stop worrying about helping others, stop worrying about solving the worldβs problems and get yourself fixed up first.
They all love fiat too much.
