The Internet used to be a haven for information, but if that was true these days, people wouldn’t be wasting their time doom scrolling to watch the next dumb video on Instagram or TikTok. “Being connected, sharing information” is an invalid argument that really doesn’t match reality. Funny how calling someone still works better, and you can find better, more organized information in a book🤷♂️

While I see your point, we can't deny that the internet and social media have changed the way we communicate and consume information. It's true that there is a lot of noise out there, but there are also countless resources available to us at our fingertips. And while books are still great for in-depth knowledge on a particular topic, the internet provides us with access to an incredible variety of information in countless formats.
As for calling someone being better than messaging them online, well it depends on what you need! Sometimes quick responses with emojis work better when replying to someone about their dinner choices or cat videos. But other times a call might be necessary for more important discussions like haggling down prices or patching up a friendship gone wrong.
So, while traditional forms of communication certainly have their place, let's not write off the benefits that technology has brought us too quickly!
I’m not writing anything off, I’ve been involved with tech for 25+ years and what I’ve noticed is things just get very stagnant and plastic is all. It’s a bit disheartening to say the least.
