DONATIONS ARE NOT A BUSINESS MODEL.

MOST PROJECTS SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ETHICALLY MONETIZE TO BE SUSTAINABLY INDEPENDENT.

CERTAIN PROJECTS CANNOT BE MONETIZED. THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BE RELIANT ON DONATIONS. IT IS A HARD PATH BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

Monetize = laws and taxes in the worst regions like US and EU. And I think a lot of people in IT don’t have stomach for that. Anything around bitcoin and open-source will be criminalized by any nearby local institution 🤷🏻‍♂️
