this was such a revelation to me, when it first hit
i spent the first 30 years of my life trying to think how i could fix the broken system
but there's a point beyond which a system can't be iterated back to good health
so, a new system has to be created, out on the fringes, and slowly, eventually, it eats the old system through brain drain/ attention drain
i thank god for incarnating me at a time where we have the tools to achieve our salvation
and for igniting the flame within me to believe that a better world is possible

I know these kind of small, tightly knit communities exist, but it's sometimes difficult to find one. It's difficult to find a place where you belong and where you can meaningfully contribute. I wish it were easier to find like-minded people.
